Introduction
The rectangular spring is generally made of alloy. The mold spring made of high-quality chrome alloy steel has the maximum bearing capacity and extended service life. The material is made of rectangular steel wire made of combined spring SV9254 chrome silicon alloy, which is ground flat.
The materials include SAE6150 chrome-vanadium steel, INCONEL – 750, INCONEL – 718, NIMONIC 90, and NIMONIC 90.
Temperature range: – 46 ℃~300 ℃
Classification and characteristics
The load grade of this spring is usually distinguished by color, which can reflect the compression amount of compression spring and the size of elasticity. Common spring colors include purple, yellow, blue, red, green, brown, orange, ivory, light blue and light green. It has small size, can withstand high speed amplitude, and has good stability and fatigue strength.
Compression spring with rectangular section: its properties are similar to that of cylindrical spiral spring with circular interface, but the difference is that its material section is rectangular. Under the same space conditions, the rectangular section spiral compression spring has greater stiffness.
Application advantages
Rectangular elasticity is a common component that provides elasticity for the mold in addition to nitrogen spring. The strength of the spring is related to the smooth production of the mold and the qualified products. If the spring force is small, it may cause various problems such as product deformation, mold not falling off, product not easy to take out of the mold, belt material, knife edge, punch easy to wear, etc. Compared with ordinary spring, it uses square wire, which has better strength and fatigue resistance. It can reduce the production risks caused by users’ use of inferior springs to a certain extent, improve production efficiency and save production costs.
They are widely used in stamping dies, metal die-casting dies, plastic molds and other elastic movement precision mechanical equipment, automobiles and other fields.
