Development status of spring technology
In electromechanical products, there are various springs, mainly including the following types
1. Supporting spring and maintenance spring mainly for automobile, motorcycle, diesel engine and gasoline engine. Such springs include valve spring, suspension spring, damping spring and clutch spring, etc., with large consumption, accounting for about 50% of the spring production. At the same time, the technical level is also high. It can be said that the technical level of this kind of spring is representative. They mainly develop towards high fatigue life and high anti-relaxation direction, so as to reduce the mass.
2. Large springs and plate springs mainly used for rolling stock, lorries and engineering machinery. These springs are mainly formed by hot rolling, which is an important aspect of spring manufacturing industry. With the development of high-speed railway and the upgrading of vehicle damping system, the hot-formed spring technology as the vehicle suspension has been greatly improved, and this kind of spring mainly develops towards high strength and high precision to stabilize the product quality.
3.Spring of electronic and electrical appliances mainly based on instruments, typical products such as motor brush spring, switch spring, camera spring, computer accessory spring, instrument accessory spring, etc. The leaf spring and special-shaped spring account for a large proportion of this kind of spring spring, and different products have different material and technical requirements. This kind of spring mainly develops towards both high strength and miniaturization.
4. Hardware springs dominated by daily machinery and electrical appliances, such as mattress, sofa, door hinge, toy, lighter, etc. Such springs are in large demand, but the technical content is not high, which improves the development opportunities for small spring enterprises. Such springs are mainly developed in the direction of miniaturization. Common spring types include compression spring, tension spring, torsional spring, etc
5.Special springs mainly used to meet the needs of special balls, such as those used for textile machinery, require high anti-loosening performance: elastic appearance is used for the steel ladle sliding mouth, requiring high heat resistance; suspension springs used for mine vibrating screen not only require high fatigue performance, but also require high corrosion resistance, so rubber metal composite springs are used: in order to meet the comfort of vehicle driving, air springs are used, etc.
For the current special-shaped section suspension spring and valve spring, it is more reasonable than the round section spring in terms of lightweight, air saving, improving comfort and improving spring stress distribution. However, the cost of the spring is higher than that of the round section spring due to high material price and complex spring manufacturing process. So far there is no indication of a profiled spring replacing a spring with a circular section.
