Conical Compression Spring
Conical Compression Spring is nonlinear.When the conical coil spring is under pressure, the C value of the spring coil near the big end is larger, the spring is softer, the C value of the small end is smaller, and the spring is harder.
The Spring coil of the softer part will be tightened first when working. Before the first circle (from the big end) is tightened, the force of the spring is still in direct proportion to the deformation. After tightening, the tightened spring coil will no longer participate in the work.
Thus, with the increase of deformation degree, the number of spring coils participating in the work will be less and less, and the spring index will develop in a smaller direction, which makes the spring harder and harder.
Therefore, the characteristic line of the cone spinning projectile is the connecting line between a straight line and a curve. Conical coil springs can only be used as compression type.
